After a year of casual dating, I came to the realization that it was time to find something more serious. I had tried a few of the more popular online dating sites out there, but was really intrigued about eharmony.com. Since I do consider myself something of an online dating site connoisseur, I found eharmony.com to be one of the most in-depth ones on the market. That’s because they use a detailed matching model based on 29 key dimensions that predict relationship success and examine 10 areas vital to your happiness and a fulfilling marriage. Sure, it takes a chunk of time to fill them out, but make sure you do it properly – these are the factors that will help eharmony.com pair you up with compatible matches.

The matching profile took a lot of time, but I found it was worth it. Since I did all the work upfront, I wasn’t searching through thousands of eharmony.com profiles that weren’t suitable. I soon found out that eharmony.com also has more women than men on the site… and I liked those odds!

Considering all the work that goes into finding “the one,” be expected to pay for your eharmony.com membership. You can’t do much with the free basic package, so I’d recommend upgrading to at least a one month membership ($59.95).  It’s the only way you can connect with other members, so unless you’re looking around with no intention to buy, you’re going to need to make a bit of an investment for your dating life.

Another cool feature that eharmony.com comes with is eHarmony Secure Call, a private way to talk to your eharmony.com matches over the phone without revealing your phone number. This is an attractive feature for women who may be a little apprehensive about giving out their digits to someone they met online.

If you’re really serious about getting into serious relationship, I’d give eharmony.com a go. I met up with several cute and nice girls. Even though I still haven’t found her yet, eharmony.com keeps sending me matches, so I’ll keep you posted on my progress!
